Detailed Plan

.

Summary for Community Advisors:

1) Our Proposal in a Nutshell: Growing the Cardano ecosystem and Cardano opportunities in the German-speaking area requires applying German language and knowing the cultural, social and economic specificities. Why is this so important ? During the recent years, a wider public became aware of BITCOIN and witnessed a very controversial and one-sided discussion about 'crypto-currencies'. Only a minority of people has an idea about huge impact of DLT/Blockchain on our future societies and way of living. This lack of knowledge is true for the general public as well as for the people working in various segments of our economy and industry. Our approach here is to apply the special knowledge of our team for establishing a multi-purpose modular DLT/Blockchain presentation & training framework in German language especially for industry-oriented trainings and workshops. This German presentation kit can be used as Consulting Artifact in collaboration with Industry Consulting partners in the rather large and important German speaking area.

2) Impact: This proposal will contribute to explain DLT/Blockchain technology and application opportunities related to the manufacturing industry. This will also become important elements for establishing collaboration with professional consulting companies. For more details please refer to our WEB-Site and/or to our Business Model Canvas section below.

3) Feasibility: This proposal is part of a bigger picture. Our DLT360 team has started its journey right after being funded in fund 6 with one of our major services: The DLT360 Risk and Opportunity Radar. Based on this initial funding, we have implemented a small operational core-team. We are now growing an extended team of inter-disciplinary domain-experts from the Catalyst community, industry and academia for adding knowledge and resources on demand. Our team has also access to excellent manufacturing industry knowhow and to a large network within this domain, especially also in the German speaking area (For more details please refer to our WEB-Site and/or to our Business Model Canvas section below).

4) Audibility: Our Business Model Canvas section outlined below contains major activities, milestones, deliverables, roadmap and costs. Due to various projects being interlinked and due to the overall complexity of proper planning and tracking, we do this in our DLT360 - MIRO environment. We offer on-demand visits to these MIRO boards for deeper-going discussions during the assessment phase. Due to already running a fund 6-funded project, we are part of the Catalyst Coordinator Process and acquainted with the relevant reporting processes.

Please note: We are applying a best-practice Business Model Canvas approach. We have added tags to our details below, hoping that the Catalyst-funded 'The Great Filter' application will be able to identifying the required sections in our text.

Business Model Canvas - Section containing further details
(Our Canvas is maintained in DLT360 MIRO environment, access upon request)

Our DLT360 team has started its journey after being funded in fund 6 for one of our major services: The DLT360 Risk and Opportunity Radar. Fund 6 is about establishing this foundational framework for professional risk (and opportunity) management. With this new fund 7 proposal, we are using this understanding and our team's experience for creating an industry-focused DLT/Blockchain presentation kit especially adjusted for the German speaking area. Points 1 to 5 of our Business Model Canvas are explaining this bigger picture, while points 6 to 9 and the listed activities, milestones, deliverables, roadmap and costs are kept very specific to this project.

1) Customer Segments / Target Groups

 • Primary Clients: CARDANO Community, proposers, projects targeting German speaking manufacturing industry
 • Secondary Clients: Consulting partners, DLT-relevant public, selected high-quality YouTube channels, universities, regulatory bodies, industry clients

2) Value Proposition

Dependent of the above listed customer-segments, we see our value proposition as following (more details in MIRO):

 • Use this as important Consulting & Training Artifact
 • Translating DLT/Blockchain talk into manufacturing-industry language
 • Contributing to creating new business opportunities for the Cardano ecosystem

3) Distribution Channels

Depending on customer-segment and corresponding value-proposition, the following delivery channels will be used:

 • Downloadable presentations and video-clips
 • Live-presentations in case of assignments together with consulting & training partners

4) Customer Relationship

This project requires a substantial one-time-effort. After this initial effort and the related initial funding, this will become part of our overall DLT360 activities. This presentation Kit is especially addressing partners in industry consulting and training.

5) Revenue Structure

This project will provide business opportunities in collaboration with consulting & training partners. Some appetising elements of the presentation kit will be accessible free-of-charge and motivate our customers to go for value and premium subscriptions. As for the overall startup of DLT360 we are - also in this case - applying a careful 'Lean Startup' approach. This means that we will plan, check and iteratively adjust our Business Model according to our learnings, documented in our MIRO environment.

6) Key Activities

This project requires the following specific key-activities

 • Drafting the presentation design and content in close interaction with domain experts from industry and academia.
 • Domain-expert validation of the concept
 • Designing the presentation in modular steps
 • Quality checking & releasing of results by senior domain experts
 • Testing with pilot customers

7) Key Resources

DLT360 is built by a small core-team and a flexible team of highly renowned domain experts as well as a scalable network of contributors from the Cardano community, from academia and from industry. For this specific project we will need the following key resources

 • Overall lead and representation (handled by Heinz Gassner)
 • Project Management: Coordination of execution, collaborating within our team and with external teams & network members
 • Back-office work mainly for generating the presentation modules according to content & design templates
 • Content design by Inter-disciplinary team: (mainly alumni and active students)
 • Domain Experts: Various, inter-disciplinary renowned domain experts, please see the current status on our website

 • Additional senior industry domain experts from the German speaking area (for always latest updates see our WEB-Site)

8) Key Partners

Our explicit goal is to integrate renowned industry experts and organizations into this project. Please find them always up-to-date on our WEB-Site.

9) Cost Structure

By networking with universities, active students and alumni, we are approaching our projects in a very cost-conscious way. Based on our listed key-activities and key-resources, we plan with the following costs (please note that we are in progress of setting up a formal company body and need to follow the strict European tax regulations):

 • Project Management (10 hours for USD 50/h = USD 500)
 • Backoffice execution work (100 hours for USD 20/h = USD 2.000)
 • Research: Major parts handled in form of student-internship arrangement (USD 1.000)
 • Content & design templates (70 hours for USD 50/h = USD 3.500)
 • Quality checking by domain experts (5 hours for USD 100/h = USD 500)

Roadmap, Milestones and Deliverables

Due to the linkage with other activities of the DLT360 team and the lack of a graphics-integration in IDEAscale, all details are maintained in our MIRO environment. The plan below is just an orientational overview-listing:

 • FEB 2022 Getting started, project formation
 • FEB, MAR 2022. Basic content & design concept
 • MAR 2022 Draft checking by inter-disciplinary domain experts

This project is highly linked with an underlaying base project 'Industry Presentation Kit' (project ID 700142). For your orientation, the information below shows the progress of the base project.

This project is transforming and complementing the base presentations into a German version. This is done hand-in-hand with the work on the base project (we decided to refrain from classic, sequential translation in favour of a more parallel methodology. while some content is elaborated in English first and then translated into German, we also elaborate content in German and translator back to English. This way we can work more simultaneously and can establish a German content-provider community (rather than just engaging 'translators').

For your orientation: Here is the overall project activity report:

 1. Reviewing of the results of phase 1 before June 2022 (where we did some ideation pre-work in MIRO and in our original SaaS-Tool licensed from ITONICS).

 2. Since beginning of September again: Weekly working-group sessions, touching all our work streams in the segments of business, technology, legal, ESG and politics (under the business-related guidance of Thorsten Pottebaum and Heinz Gassner, under legal guidance of Mary Shenk and Michiel Van Roey, soon under special guidance of a renowned professor of the Brussels School of Governance for ESG and Politics AND in coordination with DLT & Blockchain institute of University of Malta as part of a sponsored Dissertation).

 3. Underlaying work ongoing: Basic research (in form of a sponsored Dissertation based on extensive literature study and interdisciplinary expert interviews) of how to 'appetise' WEB3.0 and future Metaverse in the area of Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry.

 4. Drafting of our Presentation framework ongoing: Based on the findings elaborated in the Dissertation project, we are drafting our Industry Onboarding Presentations in parallel. Currently we are fine-tuning the overall storyline and the required modularity. Our goal is to get to a 'T-Shape Solution', meaning that we can provide a comprehensive 'birds-perspective' on the entire complex topic, but are able to go deep on demand in various key areas.

5.. Next steps: This will then become integral part of the DLT360 WEBsite, the BUSINESS/ECONOMY section of our DLT360 NAVIGATOR and show up as OPPORTUNITIES and RISKS on the related DLT360 Risk & Opportunity Radar.

 1. We expect closeout in December

No funding instalment for this specific project requested for this month, as we were mainly working on:

 1. Integrating our various projects (and content) into our overall overall DLT360 NAVIGATOR environment (based on GitHub, OBSIDIAN, ZOTERO and specific applications on our WEB-site)

 2. Refining our overall processes, tools and team-setup for securing longterm success

 3. Focusing on getting the overall DLT360 Whitepaper done and finalise our company foundation (most likely as Hong Kong Limited Company).
