Detailed Plan

This proposal is intended to support Catalyst Community activity.

We have an increasing number of new Proposers and Community Advisors joining in just before the stage starts. There is potential in creating an organized funnel to do these activities earlier and more often.

I hypothesize that people get excited about finding an opportunity to get compensated for participating in Catalyst Community support activities. We will prepare a google form to invite proposers, community advisors, and voters to take part in the event. In addition, there will be an open tasklist to pick up the project workload to make this event happen.

We start the proposer onboarding method 5 weeks before Fund 9.
The first 4 weeks are similar to each other.
Proposers have the opportunity to take part in educational workshops related to either making proposals or pitch decks.
For the end of the week, proposers prepare a 1-minute pitch deck based on selected weekly requirements.
On the weekend everyone comes together and has an event (Mini Ideafest), where Community Advisors and voters have the opportunity to hear about ideas and assess the proposals.
In the 5th week, we will execute a collective voting experiment to reward participants.
Example question: Rate 1 to 5: How engaged the proposer was (peer participation)?

We leave the event with a feeling of success and accomplishment for progressing in project goals and leaving a trace of auditable reputation.

Proposal Team

I will be here to organize and audit project elements and ensure the success of this proposal.
As the co-founder of Catalyst Swarm and Catalyst School, I have learned to manage decentralized projects. As an individual, my goal is to learn to create an ecosystem where Proposal creation could be fun, and highly effective.
Here is my linked in: <https://www.linkedin.com/in/tevosaks/>

Scott joined me early on to help me ideate on the proposal and has proven to be a helpful assistant in organizing this project.

Stephen Whitenstall is going to join in as a marvelous auditor and will help to make this project transparent and auditable. His community involvement is known for Quality-Assurance DAO.
He is also a Circle V2 representative for funded proposers and has a funded proposal in F6: Improve and Grow Auditability challenge.

Auditablity

Project elements will be documented in the public GitHub repository.

All paid event-related and task-related documents created that do not hold private information will be shared in Github.

Before the live event, we track operation KPI's:
1. How much of the Treasury is being paid out?
2. What is the current milestone progress.
3. Is the Milestones completed before the deadline.

Once the event launch we start also tracking:
1. How many unique users participated and how many of them contributed
2. How many proposers joined and completed the process
3. Feedback rating from participants: How would you rate the quality of today's session? (1to5)

In the future, we check how many participated proposals got Community Advisor overall score over 4.2 from the Ideascale fund. The goal is to get 100% success with this KPI here.

Speculation

We think this proposal is scalable because over time we can onboard more proposers by running multiple instances.
