Detailed Plan

Credentials Trust Issue

In the blockchain world, in many applications, such as liquidity pool farming, token transactions, NFT negotiations, gaming, etc., it is not required to trust the other party since smart contracts exist to solve exactly the trust issue.

However, in some other applications such as an online, decentralized and open marketplaces, there may be a need to trust the other party if you are negotiating a service or any other good that needs expertise to be delivered. In these cases, there is a need for an extra step regarding trust. If you check an online certificate or credential, for example, it's not necessarily valid, and there are many examples of false credentials in many industries.

Certification NFTs

One way to solve this issue with the blockchain technology is by providing NFTs that represent valid certificates. The NFTs can be minted after the validity verification of credentials issued by trusted partners, such as universities, and these NFTs can guarantee the validity of one's credentials in a blockchain-based services marketplace.

Win-Win: an Alternative Dispute Resolution platform

Win-Win is an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) platform that aims at serving as a marketplace for mediators and their clients. Our main proposal in Fund 6 can be checked here: <https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Win-Win-Dispute-Resolution/368353-48088>

In this application, it is essential that the clients can verify and trust the mediator's credentials, so they can be sure that they really are professional in that field, compare their options and choose the best fit for their case.

To solve the trust issue in this case, this proposal aims at providing NFTs as blockchain-based certificates for mediators using the Win-Win platform.

How will it work?

 1. A partnership between the Win-Win team and a certification entity, such as a University, is made. One such agreement has been made with the California State University, Dominguez-Hills (CSUDH) that committed to certifying their alumni and graduates from the Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, and Peacebuilding Program (NCRP) going forward.
 2. The certification entity receives NFTs to be sent to their qualified persons' wallets
 3. The mediator proves his certification in the Win-Win platform and clients can trust his credentials when choosing a mediator for their case. The NFT credential becomes invalid if the NFT moves from the mediator's wallet.
