Problem:

Games have shown great potential for people to engage. But there is high friction for the creative to publish their game and make a living.

Detailed Plan

(First, to keep things simple at the beginning, let's limit the scope of the games to single player puzzle games.)

An ecosystem of game developers and players governed by smart contracts:

 • Games are published by developers and free to play.
 • The player can buy coins bound to the game when they achieve certain levels in the game. Some portion of the fund will go to the developers address as the profit of their game. The coin is NFT, because it's non-fungible between different games. When a game sells more its coins, the coin price will go up.
 • Each player (i.e. an address) will have a "networth", which is the NFTs it owns at current price. The "networth" can be seen as a symbol of status which you can earn in a fair competition: if you have good taste in games or really good at solving puzzles then you can get high "networth" with paying little actual money.
 • Finally we can have a shop of artworks for players to spend their "networth" to strengthen their attachment to the ecosystem.

In more details:

 • The price a player will need to pay is based on the popularity and their performance in the game. The more popular when they buy it, the higher the price. The better they perform in the game the lower the price. If you buy a game before it goes viral, or you are super good at it, you can pay a much lower price than others.
 • People cannot cheat, because they need to prove they solve the puzzle (verified on chain) to get a better price.
 • We can use some incentive engineering to prevent people or bots from repeatedly submitting trying to manipulate the price.

Success metrics:

3 months: A working proof of concept

6 months: Launch the first version MVP

12 months: Have 100 games published, and 10000 users

Budget breakdown:

(This is very rough and subject to change when further into the current infrastructure)

* Full time on-chain and backend development 6 month: 30000 USD

* Frontend development 3 month: 10000 USD

* Demo games and assets preparation: 10000 USD

* Designer: 10000 USD
