This month, we continue the process of information obtaining and testing of Cardano's DeFi protocols as they are released or tested.
We participated in the DJED testnet that was reopened with the news of Plutus v2.

We also purchased two lifetime licenses of Lightworks video editing software. The last pending purchase of material/inputs for the project.
With the launch of DJED and (possibly) Liqwid scheduled for the month of January, we will have a basic range of protocols already working on the mainnet to start the course without interruptions.
This month we continued the process of preparing the course and engaging in the testnets of the defi protocols.
Indigo, the synthetic asset protocol, conducted a public testnet and launched its mainnet platform. We participated in this process and prepared some videos that are the basis of the material we will produce in the course.
Liqwid Finance also started its testnet, we are participating in it, and using the project documentation, to raise aspects of the protocol and format the course in a didactic and practical way.
Other protocols, such as Spectrum Finance, continue to have an active testnet, and we are participating, collecting protocol information and evaluating aspects such as impermanent loss, liquidity, farm and real profitability.
We also had confirmation that DJED will be launched in January/2023, it is another protocol that we will cover in the course.
Another relevant information is that Ardana, a project that we would address in the course, announced the interruption of its development, so we immediately removed it from the course program.
This month we participated in Spectrum Finance's (Ex-ErgoDex) private testnet, providing important bug feedback, based on the knowledge we have gathered throughout the course preparation process.
We also explored the AlgoFI protocol on the Algorand blockchain, to better understand how the incentive to stake stablecoins works: real profitability, loyalty profitability, risks, rewards withdrawal dynamics, in order to understand how stablecoins play a relevant role in the trading environment. loans within Defi.
Following the development progress of the protocols that we will cover in the course, we can comment that Liqwid is making great strides in its private testnet in the preview testnet environment, and will soon open the public testnet in the pre-production environment. Also, DJED announced that the audit is expected to end in the month of November.
We are ready to support these projects, while training ourselves to teach the course, using other blockchains and Cardano's testnet protocols.
In the previous report we inform you that we contacted the Genius protocols and indigo to have access to testnet of these projects earlier, unfortunately we did not receive permission from early participation, but they opened door to business partnerships.
Therefore, we will really have to wait for the public testnet of these projects and others that are in our detailed scope in the approved original proposal.
If confirming the success hard fork Vasil expected to occur today (09/22), and the vasil functionality is available on 9/27, the forecast of the main protocols defi that we will address in the course, currently:
- Djed: 4 to 12 weeks after Vasil (between 27/10 and 27/12);
- Indigo: November/2022;
- Liqwid: Not announced;
- Genius: Not announced;
- Ardana: Not announced.
As we await the public testnet of these protocols, we continue to study the Cardano ecosystem and other ecosystems that already have the decentralized finances in full operation, as a way to we prepare technically to take the 25h practical course.
We are eager do start working as soon we get Vasil update and more protocols working. At this point in time we are writing to protocols and trying to engage with the times for participate of the testnet
