F8: Miscellaneous Challenge
Campaign Brief
This challenge is designed to capture interesting and valuable projects that do not currently fit into other challenges.
The only constrain to submit a proposal in this challenge is that the proposal needs to be somehow related to Cardano.
Defining the Challenge Alignment
During the assessment stage, Community Advisors should evaluate if proposals submitted in this challenge would be a good fit in any of the other existing challenges.
If this is the case, i.e., there is another challenge where the proposal would be well aligned with the challenge goals, then this proposal is not so well aligned with the 'Miscellaneous Challenge'.
Why is it important?
Creating a Miscellaneous Challenge could enable great ideas to be funded in a specific Fund, even if they don't fit any other Challenge.
What does success look like?
Funding great ideas that focus on problems that are not covered by any other Challenge.
Key Metrics to measure
At the end of this challenge, we will be asking ourselves: was this challenge valuable to the community?
- Successfully fund proposals, approved by the community, that don't fit well any other challenges.
- Number of identified possible Challenges to be proposed in the following Funds based on proposals submitted in the Miscellaneous Challenge.
Cardano Food Forest - Permaculture.
Solution: To overlook the intangible nature of blockchain solutions, we need deep integrations into basic, everyday requirements & resources like food
CardanoFeel (Cardano -> Real World)
Solution: Leveraging IoT to have physical objects (ie. lights) express key metrics (day of epoch, price…) without the need for a phone or computer.
Cardano Caribbean
Solution: Conduct digital and in person workshops in the region. Where individuals (eg. artist/entrepreneurs) and entities are introduced to Cardano.
Cardano Candy-Pop CNFT Giveaway
Solution: Develop and deploy an original brand campaign from Japan with free CNFTs to encourage participation in the greater Cardano community.
Cardano Blockchain Insights update
Solution: A tool to help users understand the blockchain by exposing its network effects, feeding investor analysis, and serving educational content.
Cardano Blockchain Brazil MeetupHub
Solution: 12 face2face & online hybrid meetings will be held in São Paulo (BR) with the participation of speakers/guests to present Cardano/Ecosystem
Cardano Atlas Project
Solution: Cardano Atlas Project - All-in-one platform for searching and updating Cardano’s Project information and news.
