Education on DAOs

[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

We will create an education platform in which users can attend educational videos on DAOs foundations at their own pace. The derivable will include:

Website with audiovisual content and complementary resources.
All the content will be available in Spanish and English.
10 hours of videos which participants will be able to incorporate the minimum knowledge, both of the decentralized protocols and of the good practices of decentralized organizations. The course will equip the audience with:
Knowledge and tools to be in a position to propose ideas and projects involving the needs around DAOs.
Interact more effectively with decentralized projects and communities.
Resources and a roadmap to deepen their knowledge and understanding based on the needs of a specific project and/or community.
Transcripts of the videos.
Complementary resources.
Discord server to support students with doubts and questions, promote conversation and debate about the content of the course to improve the learning experience and create an engaging community that will support the learning process during and after the course.

Cardano ecosystem through the F9 fund aims to deliver the infrastructure needed to make managing a DAO on Cardano a reality with the educational program on DAO fundamentals the community of Cardano and builders will have a place to learn the foundations needed to better designed and implement the solutions they have in mind.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

The risks associated with preventing us from delivering the project are low since we have already designed the course syllabus. We do have the knowledge and experience to deliver the content. There is no infrastructure needed to effectively deliver the content.

In case something happens with any of us, the ones creating and delivering the content we have a network of peers experts on the subject that can continue with our work and deliver the syllabus that we had already designed.

In 2021 Ayelen graduated from DAOe (https://dao.education/) where she learned how to design a DAO, out of that effort currently Ayelen is the Lead of Operations and Governance at mClub (https://twitter.com/mClubDAO), a DAO that supports creators in the Web3 ecosystem. On 2021 she acted as community mentor around DAO topics in Boske Web3 (https://www.boske.org/) and published 6 videos talking about decentralization, the last one focused on what NGOs can learn from DAOs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4M3azyt6IY&t=208s)

Agustín Franchella:

Active member of Ethereum and Cardano community since 2020. Member of HeadDAO and MutantCats DAO (ethereum) Co-Founder of Rats DAO, RatsLab, 1MATE and MAYZ.

Rats DAO is the biggest DAO on NFT space on Cardano. Currently has minted 10,000 membership NFTs distributed on 4,086 Unique Cardano Wallets. We have 1,980,000 ADA sales on secondary market. 7,000 Members on Discord and 11,000 followers on Twitter.

The Treasury is hold on a multisign wallet with key holders elected by the community. We hold the most relevant Blue Chips on Cardano NFTs and also DeFi tokens. 1 Berry, 33 SpaceBudz, 82 Clay Nation OG, 18 Clay Nation GC, 123 Clay Pitches, 52 DeadPXL, and many other projects. The current value of the treasury is more than 1,700,000 ADA.

[FEASIBILITY] If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

The proposal it's designed as a one off educational program. In case the educational program is proven to be successful and the community and ecosystem demand further content we may request further funding to expand the content and resources available for the community.

The Cardano ecosystem will have a go-to platform to learn the fundamentals of DAOs.
The Cardano ecosystem will be known as the one with top content on the subject, attracting members from other ecosystem to learn about DAOs.
Every builder and community members working in a decentralized project will be equipped with, or know that they have a platform in which to learn, the fundamental knowledge about DAOs and a learning blueprint to deepen their knowledge based on their project needs.
