Solution
We'll have Cardano events at SHIBUYA FES which was over 12K, including many no-crypto people last year, an event for pop, fashion, and music culture and NFT, and showcase our ecosystem.
Problem
There are not so major events that people who are not in our ecosystem learn about or reach out to the Cardano ecosystem. It makes many in Japan think Cardano has no use case or has never heard [日本語](https://docs.google.com/document/d/19EEdirMCY_SEq4K2sqiLlUMEfOJZTTyIcvAGF51Yepo/edit?usp=sharing)

This proposal was approved and funded by the Cardano Community via Project F11: Cardano Open: Ecosystem - non-technical Catalyst funding round.

[SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution.

In Japan, there are not so many people who are familiar with the Cardano Ecosystem. Also, there are a lot of people who think that Cardano has no Defi or NFTs. This is because we haven't been holding exhibitions or talk sessions at significant events for the non-crypto or people who recently joined the crypto space.

This causes almost all people in the NFT space in Japan to remain in the Ethereum ecosystem and prevents them from knowing about our ecosystem.

Shibuya Festival (24/4/28-30) is the annual event in Japan hold on 28th April (The day of Shibuya). This event gathered over 12K people including many no-crypto people last year. Including Side Events of it. This is an event for pop, fashion, and music culture. We plan to promote our ecosystem and CNFTs at this event next year.

This event is hosted by Shibuya Culture Scramble: A Digital Magazine for Shibuya Culture and NAVY INC: Talent Agency company to which a lot of famous actors belong, co-hosts this event. And this event also has a great connection with a lot of the stakeholders. The supporters of this event are, for example, the Shibuya Cast: Tokyu department, atmos: A well-known Sneaker shop creating Japanese Tokyo-style pop sneaker culture, and MIRRORLIAR FILMS: A movie project such as Takayuki Yamada, Shinnosuke Abe, Japanese famous actors belongs as board members, etc. For more previous partnerships for this event(2022, 2023 Shibuya Fes), see the picture below.

Partners 2022

Co-host, Partners for 2023

Next year, we will hold Cardano and CNFT showcasing / conference / exhibition at this event; in this event, we plan to have a talk event with PAIMA Studio, Cardano Ambassadors, Socious, Emurgo, and JPG. Store, etc, and showcase successful CNFT projects like Ore Ore Ore collaborating with the fashion brands in Japan.

We'll focus on the usecase what people can do using Cardano Blockchain not so much focus on technical things.

This will bring many profits for our ecosystem like below.

  1. We can have rare chance to have networking enterprises which are not in Cryptospace
  2. We can have the chance to collaborate with music / fashion / art related stakeholders in hot Japan Culture space
  3. People who will join event can recognize that Cardano has real use cases and think about how they can apply Cardano to your work and activities

We believe that these profits are very significant for the further spread of Cardano in the Japanese real world because if people or enterprises even don't recognize Cardano, there're no chance to be adopted by such stakeholders.

[IMPACT] Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community.

How the Project Brings Value to the Cardano Community:

  1. Having the rare chance to have networking enterprises /people who are not in Crypto space
  2. Have the chance to collaborate with music/fashion / art / NFT-related stakeholders in hot Japanese cultural space
  3. People who will join the event can recognize that Cardano has real use cases and think about how they can apply Cardano to their work and activities
  4. Through 1-4 Promote the adoption of Cardano among Japanese enterprises.

Measuring the Impact:

  • We will track the number of people who join this event
  • We will track the number of new collaborations and projects initiated during or as a result of the events.
  • We will follow up with enterprises that will be collaborate through the event and propose to make a new Cardano use-case

Sharing Outputs and Opportunities:

We will share the outputs and opportunities of our project through the following methods:

  • During and after the completion of the project, we plan to spread its outputs. This will include providing monthly and milestone reports, as well as regular town hall meetings.

  • We will share information about the project's outputs, impact, and opportunities with community members. The close-out report and video will be publicly available on YouTube. Additionally, we will share updates on our website and social media platforms.

  • Our event details can be released at the Shibuya Culture Scramble

  • We will also engage with the community through community forums and social media platforms, providing regular updates and insights.

[CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

We're the team with a certain successful record for physical events and Cardano events.

We've held a lot of Cardano/non-Cardano events, and our records prove that we have the ability to hold events.

[BUDGET & COSTS] Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources.

Please see below for a detailed breakdown of our budget. The current base conversion rate for ADA-USD is 0.37.

Executive summary:

Total Cost: 73,730ADA($;27,280)

Milestone 1: 32,216 ADA ($11,920 )

Milestone 2: 36,108ADA ($13,360)

Final Milestone: 5405ADA ($2000)

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

We are very unique in focusing on collaboration and networking with fashion, Art, Music, Pop, and NFT cultures in Tokyo,Japan.

CNFT space is not a good situation, but Real Fashion, Art, Music, and Pop culture-related companies are building real use cases of NFTs every day in Japan.

This means through this event, we can spread our ecosystem directly to whom we want to reach out, and we believe that this event will cause future CNFT important use cases.

So, the budget is worth to be funded.

We estimate our team budget from the average Japanese salary and also the venue fee, and the other fee is estimated based on the real event that we had before.

For more detailed budget see the link below.
