Summary

Monate is a blockchain based API powering ticket distribution project. It therefore puts supply distribution lines to the fore front to enable event organizers to reach consumers efficiently. With the world moving to an online environment and revolutionary tech taking over we believe that with smart contracts and efficient payment systems we will be able to offer a great service to the benefit of all stakeholders. We therefore decided to go with blockchain given its immutable and temper proof characteristics. To reduce any loses and counterfeiting faced by event organizers enabling reach of targeted goals by event organizers. Also ensuring all costs are reduced and reward systems are put in place. The service will therefore ensure event organizers work are put to minimal in terms of distribution of tickets and tags combining also strategic identification techniques to ensure revocation and duplications do not affect distribution lines and hence leading to losses provided there are any cancellations/continued gatherings of the event in future. .

Monate therefore aims to integrate Cardano blockchain into our model in order to disrupt the current practice that people follow to get tickets distributed. We will create an environment where clients needs are empowered through access to opportunities at the same institutional level as exisiting service providers hence reducing effects of intemediaries. This will ultimately create sustainablity in clients operations and increased/improved chance of reaching their targets as intended by use of the service.By reducing costs as far as possible and removing reliance on external parties to deliver a service.

Problem

People are moving towards a norm where information does not want to be given up easily. Making it all about convenience and ensuring a user-friendly interface is being offered. It has further been established that centralized systems can be very costly and present business risks. Breaches of data could cause reputational damage due to need for abiding to privacy regulations. Given the era we are heading into different forms of payment methods are increasing in demand and the need for cost effective ways to transfer value.Event organizers are also losing a lot due to their sales distribution methods due to counterfeiting/duplications.Bus services still are heavily reliant on physical/manual ways to distribute tickets prior to service deliver. Ticketing services are also becoming costly resulting in resorting to manual ways to deliver services. Final consumers are also losing due to inability to track tickets by their identity and request an alternative cheaper way to get reinstated in the event of loss.Cancellation clause are only effective upon selection and incurring a fee which is likely to occur in the event the service is not delivered by the organiser/prior to event due to contingencies. Re-selling of tickets manually also leaves buyers prone to being scammed and incurring higher costs due to unavailability. Intermediaries are increasingly affecting sales channels and affecting the way value can/should be transferred.

Solution

Monate will enable consumers to instil flexibility in their products. Given the nature and use cases of blockchain, technology links can be established between physical products and blockchain unique assigned identity. Giving customers direct access to distribution lines. With blockchain it has further been established that digital solutions can be integrated to empower individuals to control their own identity and verify credentials anytime and anywhere. Through use of various elements of blockchain integrated into our project this will allow a reduction in cost, provide security benefits, convenience, improved transparency and ensure global interaction through strategic alliance with web-based companies and ensure we fulfil a good consumer experience as far as possible.Cancellation and refunding will be made easier in the event of any contingencies. Reinstatement mechanisms will also be put in place.Thus ensuring the ability to store and transfer value easily to stakeholders ultimately. Integration system to facilities(parking lots) & RFIC tags to store funds and make payments / even make adjustments to funds.

Reason for requested funds

The ultimate goal is to make this a peer-to-peer platform ensuring value is created unlike traditional ticket distribution services. For our upcoming quarter the goal is to commence with development of Monate.We requested the amount of funds stated as they will ensure we harness the best out of research of functionality of the API whilst sourcing new members ,contractors & equipment to enable a successive reach of our end goal.
