Attend these events as CNFT & GameFi ambassadors, and assist in educating communities about the technical benefits when building on Cardano.

Problem:

CNFTs and on-chain gaming are underrepresented at blockchain industry events, leading passionate people in our industry to overlook Cardano.

[IMPACT]

Our team is an amalgamation of the great people that make up the Cardano ecosystem. From creative minds to developers, we cover the breadth of knowledge that is required to convert people from all walks of life into the adoption of Cardano. Artists, technology enthusiasts, gamers, and business-minded people alike will be able to relate to our mission and our passion for what we’re building. With that in mind, we acknowledge that we can only onboard new people to Cardano GameFi if we have the opportunity to share our vision with them.

Reaching these new audiences often requires a mixture of traditional and creative guerilla marketing. This includes off-site CryptoPetz hosted events during conferences, distributing custom merchandise, and other innovative attempts at appealing to the crypto (and specifically Ethereum) communities. These tactics are best employed at high-visibility events, primarily the various cryptocurrency and NFT conventions. We plan to attend every event with worthwhile potential for onboarding new members onto Cardano.

As new members join both the Cardano and more specifically, GameFi communities, the next step is to encourage interaction and loyalty to the ecosystem. Our team avidly engages with our community to make voices feel heard in the GameFi development processes. Through community voting, bi-weekly AMAs, and bi-weekly project business and technical updates, we provide a level of transparency that fosters trust and engagement from community members of all backgrounds.

We also plan to initiate consistent releases of educational Medium articles focused on Cardano, ranging from simple wallet setup walkthroughs to the benefits of the eUTxO model over the Ethereum Virtual Machine and its account model. In parallel with this education, we will be developing an open-source JavaScript utility package full of tools that will make dApp creation a simple and unobstructed process relative to Ethereum dApps. This package will contain utilities that make frontend integration with the blockchain a breeze, including but not limited to: frontend wallet integration following the relevant CIPs, wallet asset snapshots, frontend transaction building, stake address derivation, BlockFrost integration for data fetching relevant to wallets and native assets, message signing and signature validation, and other serialization conveniences.

This multi-factor approach to the challenge will work by: introducing Cardano and GameFi to those that have been oblivious or skeptical towards it by engaging with them at in-person conferences around the country, educating them on the different user workflows and technical efficiencies of Cardano via informative Medium articles, engaging with them to add a sense of belonging and mutual respect through our consistent AMAs and community presence, and enabling a simplistic approach to onboarding their project in the Cardano ecosystem using our open-source dApp utilities.

By appearing in-person at these crypto conferences in combination with hosting events, distributing Cardano merchandise, and obtaining booths, we will be giving a voice to Cardano that is typically overshadowed by Ethereum. Utilizing our experience and wisdom obtained from running CryptoPetz over the past 13 months, as well as our developers’ experience in both the Ethereum and Cardano ecosystems, we are uniquely positioned to have intelligent discourse with project leaders and community members alike to help them realize the potential of Cardano as a leader in the space.

Our solution is distinguished by the continuation of the onboarding process beyond representing CNFTs and GameFi at these events. As we continue to develop our game on Cardano, we will be able to remain on the cusp of innovation in the space and deliver information in an easy-to-digest format for those that are interested. We will also be able to prioritize updates in the Cardano utility development that reflects the current demand of the Cardano community for specific dApp functionality. Having a team so involved in both the social and technical aspects of this quickly growing industry uniquely positions us to alleviate the concerns of Ethereum users and subsequently assist them in building on Cardano.

Conferences

Travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic may result in delays for conferences, and may require us to adapt our marketing plan accordingly. This will not affect our plans in the long run, but may shift the timeline of certain deliverables (such as merchandise distribution).

Education

Due to the fast-paced development of Cardano, including a consistent flow of new CIPs proposed, it may be difficult to ensure all educational posts do not become obsolete. In addition to new content creation, there will also need to be time devoted to updating previous content that is no longer accurate.

Development

Likewise for development, with the fast-paced development of Cardano the utility package will need to be maintained in addition to new functionality being introduced. To ensure long-term stability, this open-source package will likely be transitioned to be fully maintained by the community once it becomes widely adopted.
