[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

The Cardano Calendar mobile app aims to provide the Cardano community with an inclusive and user-friendly resource to stay updated on all ecosystem developments. Unlike inefficient social media platforms, our mobile interface will offer a comprehensive view of projects and events, enabling users to easily find the information they seek by selecting relevant parameters. The Cardano Calendar targets both existing community members and newcomers seeking knowledge about specific projects or events. Encompassing all projects building in the ecosystem, this platform will benefit the wider Cardano community.

The exponential growth of Cardano in terms of wallets, new users, and project activity necessitates a solution to manage the overwhelming number of projects and events. Existing social media platforms are cumbersome to navigate. Our open platform, inclusive of events from any project, will provide Cardano community members with a streamlined way to stay updated on all relevant activities.

[IMPACT] How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

We are addressing the Products and Integrations challenge by bringing more builders into the ecosystem and creating high-quality platforms built for the community. This proposal aligns with the Challenge category as it provides a resource to facilitate events taking place within the ecosystem. Many projects are building within the space and new users coming into the community need a way to stay updated with everything taking place. This will allow for a better experience for newcomers joining the community.

[IMPACT] How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

The project's success would signify the establishment of a reliable resource for the Cardano community to discover upcoming events within the ecosystem. With over 10,000 platform visitors, users can opt for notifications, ensuring they derive maximum value from the Cardano Calendar. Users exhibit enthusiasm when accessing the platform and actively refer new members to the Cardano ecosystem, resulting in a monthly sign-up rate of over 100 new users.

Additionally, the project's success would lead to increased event engagement and broader event promotion for hosts. By raising awareness, the platform enables a 10% growth in the number of attendees for in-person events.

[IMPACT] Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

The progress of our project will be shared with the community via social media and other popular outlets. Our goal is to engage users and increase awareness as our development continues.

Steps we will take to implement development of Cardano Calendar Mobile App

  1. Create the login screen (completed)
  2. Build user-journey flow (completed)
  3. Design the mobile UI (in progress)
  4. Revise the user journey
  5. Begin development
  6. Test functionality of logic
  7. Complete development
  8. Perform QC checks for code
  9. Receive feedback from community
  10. Revise code and UI for final version

Long Term Vision

The Cardano Calendar mobile app is a leading platform that provides extensive support for builders and innovators within the ecosystem. It facilitates direct connections between projects and their supporters, fostering personalized engagement.

Our objective is to develop a comprehensive platform that serves as a resource for the entire Cardano Community, offering information on the people, projects, timelines, and locations associated with any endeavor being developed on Cardano.

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The cost of this project represents value for money for the Cardano ecosystem due to our team's commitment to ecosystem growth and ability to deliver useful products that increase efficiency.

In order to build this platform, we have onboarded several developers to be apart of the Cardano ecosystem. The budget has been determined considering the average wages for software professionals in North America, reflecting the high level of expertise and quality assurance that we bring to this project.

Attached is the invoicing spreadsheet created for the development costs of the Cardano Calendar web platform. This breakdown shows the number of hours and the cost in USD. This is intended to provide an example of development costs of the mobile application.
