Detailed Plan

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION

Everyone should have the chance to handle their tokens and their tokenomics, as now they can manage a blog.

We want to create a valuable connection between Subscribers and Content Creators.

The mission consists of helping the Creators get funds efficiently, distributing personal tokens/NFTs, and correlating the value of their brand to the value of the tokens. Besides, Subscribers participate in the creation process, investing in the creators, which they believe.

As a side effect, We think that Content Creators could rapidly drive the mass adoption of Tokens and NFTs through their activities.

The actors involved in this solution are Creators and Subscribers. A Creator can be a Freelancer, Influencer, a content creator, or a small business. Instead, we can see the Supporter as a Follower or an investor.

A subscriber could also be a marketing manager who intends to place his product through the Creator advertising space.

The DApp will provide the following functionalities:

  • Token minting through a user-friendly interface
  • Swap pool to easily exchange the token minted.
  • Stake tokens to participate in an offer or event (real or virtual)
  • NFT minting, also by burning or staking tokens

The user interface will be user-friendly to use by an outsider of the blockchain field easily.

ACTORS ACTIONS

As we said, The actors involved in this solution are Creators and Subscribers. Now let’s see what they can do.

A Creator can:

- Mint tokens

- Decide with percentual of the token put on the public sale through a swap pool.

- Correlate the token to events, products, and services.

- Correlate an NFT to give access to events, products, and services.

- Enable staking reward for his token.

- Sell his token to get funds.

A Subscriber can:

- Buy and sell the token as an investment

- Buy and stake the Creator token to access events, products, and services.

Furthermore:

- Retailers can use the same approach for their loyalty campaigns.

- An Investor can pay a different amount based on the performance achieved by the Creator.

- In the advanced stages of the project, there will be DAO tools to build a better connection between Creators and Supporters.

USE CASE - ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

- The Creator produces NFTs representing the right to use his advertising place.

- The Subscriber who made the best offer can buy the NFT to advertise his product or service on the Creator space.

- The Creator can decide if he wants to accept the offer from the subscriber.

USE CASE - LOYALTY BENEFIT

- The Creator can set stake levels and define how long the tokens must be locked.

- The Creator defines benefits related to the staking

- The Subscriber that stakes and lock his funds get an NFT that can represent a benefit. For example, he can access an event.

BUDGET FOR A MINIMUM VIABLE PRODUCT

  • Plutus developer (5 months for 3000$)
  • Frontend developer (5 months for 3000$)
  • Blockchain project lead (5 months for 3000$)
  • UI/UX Designer (2 months for 2000$)

TOTAL ~50,000$

As a cheaper alternative to set up the job:

- Begin developments by myself

- Publish a project landing page

- Get funds through ICO

- Ask for funds through a bank loan

In this case, a smaller amount would be required, for around $ 10,000.

DEFINITION OF SUCCESS

KPI

The metrics to measure the success of the project are the following:

- Creators Adoption

- Tokens transactions

Creator adoption

The creator adoption is measured by the number of different tokens minted. By the end of 2022, the goal would be to bring on board at least 25-50 Content creators with at least 100,000 subscribers.

Token transaction

The token transactions measure the adoption by Subscribers and how they can swap, send and stake their tokens.

ROADMAP 2022-2023

Detailed roadmap here (*https://github.com/cardano-on-the-road/karma/wiki/Roadmap*)

3 MONTHS

  • Technical solution design and whitepaper elaboration
  • Smart contracts development and UI/UX design
  • Project token release for project sustainability

6 MONTHS

  • Release of first MVP (Minumum Viable Product)
  • Users feedback analysis

12 MONTHS

  • Stable release
  • Beginning of research for DAO tools integration

RISKS & CHALLENGES

The following point represents the critical factor for the success of the project:

- An effective marketing campaign to induce Content Creator to participate in the project.

- Find competent collaborators to support the development of the DApp and maintenance of subsequent releases.

- Stay competitive with other projects (Brave, Patreon, OnlyFans, Reddit)
