Why do wines from the same winery and LOT taste differently and have different organoleptic and quality?

Why do we buy the most recommended special wine on the market but its taste often is far from reviving?

These questions inspired us to make profound research, tracking various conditions of wine making process and storage of different bottles.

Problem statement:

Experience and research have shown that improper storage conditions, during distribution through the entire supply chain are the most common cause of wine’s quality loss.

Mission:

To provide a new way of control and communication between winery and end customer in order to achieve constant quality and proven authenticity of wines with the help of fintech.

Solution:

Tracking of the wine’s real-time quality in many supply chain checkpoints, supported with a blockchain-ownership and -monitoring solution.

Who stays behind this idea:

Intellics Engineering Ltd. has experience in product development of more than 6 years in software, hardware, and mechanical point of view. In the last 3 years, Intellics is involved in blockchain products, which are already on the market, and developed a lot of systems supporting Industry 4.0 and IoT. In the last 3 years, Intellics works as a support and full research and development company in different technical areas as automotive branches, space technology, hotel systems, and the market industry.

Product features:

1. A fintech macro economical technology;

2. Blockchain solution;

3. New way of thinking for a NFT;

We divided our project into FOUR main project phases.

We will use Fund 7 for our Phase I - dApp build (Front/Backend).

For the other phases, we will continue to raise money from the Catalyst, so we plan to work with the Catalyst till the end.

The DIVINE project phases are:

1. dApp build (Front/Backend) - 2.1.2022 - 35.000$;

2. Blockchain creation and integration - 6.1.2022 - 35.000$;

3. Ownership guaranty - the new way of NFT - 10.3.2022 - 35.000$;

4. Testing and approval - 2.1.2023 - 35.000$;

SOP - 3.1.2023;

The total amount of money is 140.000$;

The spent months for the project will be 13;

DIVINE Phase I KPIs:

User’s satisfaction:

We want to reach 100.000 users in the first year of the project. Our application is easy to use and we hope that will help for the user’s satisfaction too.

Revenue:

With the reached goal for the revenue, we will ensure better development in each following project phase. Our goal is to have 100.000 dollars as revenue in the first project year.

Risk management:

The wine market is a very specific place for selling. There are a lot of risks there if our mission should be done perfectly.

Trust:

We want to ensure trust in our company and in our project via quality, project transparency, and perfect monitoring from our side.

Long-term relationship:

Our device will hold the wine information for 5 years without any battery problems and data issues. We want with this method to stay connected with our customers for long.

Challenges/Risks:

- Documentation of both authenticity and provenance - the blockchain solution will cover this issue well;

- Temperature monitoring of shipments and storage conditions - the product tests will ensure the good result;

- The traceability of wines during their entire lifespan - the product development will cover this risk;

- Imitation of the product - with the special magic (will be revealed in the last phase) of DIVINE we will ensure the authentication;

3. Risk analysis - 1 week;

4. Treat jump workshop - 1 day;

5. DApp borders definition - 2 weeks;

6. Frontend architecture concept - 3 weeks;

7. Backend architecture concept - 3 weeks;

8. Front/Backend prototypes - 4 weeks;
