Solution

An Inukshuk Health DID provides u individuals and the purveyors ofclinical trials and research a basis for action. Using Atala PRISM SDK,we will issue a DiD in a no code interface.

Problem:

The problems of a DID for healthcare are limited by national jurisdiction for its issuance and verification. Individuals DID’s need to be conformable to standards for clinical trials.

[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

Our solution endeavours to construct a no-code based framework of easy to use templates to create an IHDID. Similar to the no-code model defined in the Marlowe Smart contract application for finance, this approach generates a unique DID for each individual involved in the Clinical trial or research study and also defines a unique DiD for the organizations and personnel involved in the study or trial.

[IMPACT] Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

The proposed solution addresses the development of an international repository of health studies within the framework of the blockchain Trustless structure.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

One formidable risk is the status of releases for the Atala PRISM code. Another is ramping up the required engineering resources to integrate the backend functions with the model proposed. Our team has been carefully developed to ensure that we can realize on these projects effectively, but inherent issues with the timing are dependent on the safe health of our staff (e.g. this age of Covid).

[FEASIBILITY] Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

  • Exploratory analysis of embedded toolchains and potential hardware platforms to be supported. 65 hrs Weeks 1 & 2
  • Design, architecture, specification, initialization. 135 hrs Weeks 3, 4 & 5
  • Preliminary code audit function 95 hrs Weeks 6 & 7
  • Implementation and superficial testing of core features 195 hrs Weeks 8, 9, 10 & 11
  • Extensive testing and possible implementation of edge features 105 hrs Weeks 12, 13 & 14
  • Docs and training materials 55 hrs Weeks 15 & 16
  • Adaptation budget 75 Weeks 17 & 18

[FEASIBILITY] Please provide a detailed budget breakdown.

[FEASIBILITY] If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

As with all projects of this nature, we build standalone applications. New developments may provide a basis for another application down the road.

[AUDITABILITY] Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

Weekly status reports for the project.

Module tests

User Feedback.

[AUDITABILITY] What does success for this project look like?

Our measure of success will be the completion of the IHDID no-code application, which allows the individuals to develop and deploy the IHDID.

Fulfilment of the recruitment of a test group for a Clinical Trial with a Parkinson’s Disease sensor of Dopamine. Beginning with 25 recruits for initial tests, followed by 250 recruits and then 2500 recruits this project should evolve the awareness of a significant community and their understanding of the benefits of the Cardano blockchain ecosystem.

[AUDITABILITY] Please provide information on whether this proposal is a continuation of a previously funded project in Catalyst or an entirely new one.
