[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

Why we are in a unique position to approach this challenge:

  • We have already been contacted by local governments in Japan.

Why have chosen to approach it in this way:

  • We already provide strategy sessions and plans of action to businesses in Japan.

Who our project will engage:

  • We will engage directly with elected officials and policy makers in Japan.

How our project will be implemented:

  • We will hold consulting sessions and workshops with business strategists, executives, and researchers in Japan with the goal of bringing Cardano and Catalyst to local governments in Japan.

What we will produce:

  • We provide a report detailing the knowledge and resources that local Japanese governments need in order to consider Cardano for innovation. We will also provide them with an actionable strategy to begin implementing Cardano and Blockchain technology into their efforts.

What will happen:

  • Local governments in Japan will be presented with fresh new ideas on how to revitalize depopulated areas and serve their aging communities through Cardano and Catalyst.

  • We will be able to communicate the message of Cardano and Catalyst directly to decision-makers and people of influence within the government of Japan - something that is not possible to do through traditional media, PR, or awareness campaigns.

[IMPACT] Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

To quote the challenge description, we wish to answer the call to action.

The call to activate the Cardano community's ability to recognize and reward the opportunity to make the world a better place.

We have lived and worked in Japan for many years.

Japan is very near and dear to our hearts, and we have grown intimately familiar with many of the socio-economic challenges that our country faces.

We see a great opportunity for the Cardano community to offer its strength and support to these challenges.

By presenting local governments in Japan with the knowledge and resources needed to begin innovating with Cardano - we believe we can provide a fresh, new approach to making the world a better place for Japan's depopulated towns and aging communities.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

Public perception and its nuances play a major part in Japanese business, politics, and even everyday life.

There may be participants in the project for whom appearance and reputation becomes a concern.

Therefore, we may encounter challenges relating to the disclosure of information and/or identities.
