Please describe your proposed solution.

Our proposed solution aims to address the challenges faced by young digital artists in the Cardano ecosystem by creating a comprehensive platform that offers the following:

  • Funding Opportunities: We will establish a funding pool specifically dedicated to supporting young digital artists. This pool will provide small grants and project-based funding to enable artists to pursue their creative endeavors.
  • Mentorship Programs: Experienced professionals from the art and blockchain industries will be paired with young artists to provide guidance, feedback, and industry insights. Mentorship programs will focus on enhancing artistic skills, navigating the art market, and leveraging blockchain technology.
  • Educational Resources: We will curate and provide access to a wide range of educational resources, including tutorials, workshops, and online courses. These resources will cover various aspects of digital art creation, technical skills, and blockchain integration.
  • Networking and Collaboration Opportunities: The platform will facilitate connections among artists, fostering a supportive community where collaborations, joint projects, and knowledge-sharing can flourish. Networking events, virtual exhibitions, and artist showcases will be organized to showcase artists' work and promote their visibility.
  • Promotion and Exposure: We will actively promote the work of young digital artists through social media campaigns, online exhibitions, and collaborations with art galleries and media outlets. This exposure will help artists gain recognition, attract potential clients, and expand their audience.
  • User-Friendly Interface: The platform will be designed with a user-friendly interface, making it easy for artists to create profiles, showcase their portfolios, and engage with other artists and potential stakeholders in the Cardano ecosystem.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

Our proposed solution directly addresses the challenge of funding and supporting young digital artists & developers in the Cardano ecosystem. By providing a dedicated platform with funding opportunities, mentorship programs, educational resources, networking, and promotion, our aim is to nurture artistic innovation and create a thriving community of talented artists within the Cardano ecosystem.

Through financial support and mentorship, we empower young digital artists to pursue their creative projects and push the boundaries of artistic innovation. This not only enriches the ecosystem but also positions Cardano as a hub for digital art and blockchain-based creativity.

By fostering collaboration and networking among artists, we create a sense of community and collective growth. This collaboration fuels the development of interdisciplinary projects that leverage the potential of blockchain technology within the art world.

Furthermore, our platform's promotional efforts aim to elevate the visibility of young digital artists within and beyond the Cardano community. By showcasing their work and highlighting their use of Cardano's blockchain infrastructure, we attract attention, potential clients, and patrons. This exposure contributes to the broader adoption and interest in Cardano as a platform for discovering and supporting emerging artistic talent.

Overall, our solution not only supports young digital artists but also enhances the vibrancy, diversity, and appeal of the Cardano ecosystem. It solidifies Cardano's position as an innovative and artist-friendly blockchain platform, attracting both artists and art enthusiasts alike.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

We will measure the success of our project using these indicators:

  • Participation: We will track the number of young digital artists actively using our platform, creating profiles, and showcasing their artwork. A higher participation rate will indicate the appeal and relevance of our solution.
  • Funding Impact: Monitoring the successful allocation of funds to deserving artists and tracking the completion of their art projects will provide a tangible measure of financial support provided.
  • Artist Feedback: Conducting regular surveys and assessments will gauge artists' satisfaction with our platform, mentorship programs, educational resources, and networking opportunities. Positive feedback and high satisfaction ratings will indicate the effectiveness and value of our solution.
  • Artistic Output: Evaluating the quality and impact of art projects created by participating artists will consider factors such as artistic merit, innovation, engagement with the Cardano ecosystem, and broader recognition or exhibitions obtained.
  • Community Engagement: Measuring the level of engagement within the community of young digital artists, including collaborations, knowledge-sharing, and support among artists, will reflect the success of fostering connections and collaboration.
  • Social Media Reach: Tracking the growth of our social media presence, including followers, likes, shares, and comments, will indicate the broader visibility and interest generated by our promotional activities.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

  • Online Presence: We will regularly update our project website, social media channels, and Cardano community forums to provide updates, showcase success stories, and highlight the artworks created by young digital artists.
  • Community Engagement: We will actively participate in relevant meetups, conferences, and events to present our project, discuss its impact, and connect with potential collaborators, investors, and supporters.
  • Collaboration with Art Institutions: We will collaborate with art institutions, galleries, and museums to exhibit the artworks created by participating artists, thereby promoting blockchain integration in the art world.
  • Partnerships with Industry Stakeholders: We will seek partnerships with blockchain developers, art market experts, and established artists to leverage their networks and promote project outputs to a wider audience.
  • Research Contribution: We will contribute our findings to the Cardano research community, blockchain conferences, and academic publications, enhancing the understanding of blockchain and digital art.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

By successfully launching a F9 funded project we have a proven track record of delivering projects with trust and accountability. Our capability to maintain these standards is grounded in our experience as a team, full time 9 strong, transparent communication - be it in Town Hall breakouts of elsewhere, community engagement - 5k + active community, adherence to timelines and commitment to continuous improvement. The team has also delivered their staking app which is live at: <https://app.tangent.art>. We want to stress that we are a full time team with commitments to build on Cardano.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

Our project has several key goals that we aim to achieve:

  1. Empower Young Digital Artists: Our primary objective is to provide young digital artists with the necessary resources, mentorship, funding, and networking opportunities to support their growth and development.
  2. Foster Innovation in Digital Art: We strive to encourage and promote innovation within the field of digital art. By leveraging the capabilities of the Cardano blockchain, we aim to explore new possibilities for artistic expression and push the boundaries of what can be achieved.
  3. Increase Visibility of the Cardano Ecosystem: We want to showcase the potential of the Cardano ecosystem to a wider audience. By integrating blockchain technology within the art community, we aim to attract new users, enthusiasts, and stakeholders to Cardano.

To validate the feasibility of our approach, we will employ both quantitative and qualitative measures.

Quantitative Validation:

  • Tracking the number of registered young digital artists on our platform.
  • Monitoring the amount of funding allocated to artists and ensuring the successful completion of their art projects.
  • Measuring the growth in community engagement, such as collaborations and knowledge-sharing among artists.

Qualitative Validation:

  • Conducting artist feedback and satisfaction surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of our resources, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities.
  • Assessing the recognition and exhibitions obtained by participating artists as a measure of the impact and quality of their artwork.
