Solution

We provide funds to companies every time the shares are transacted without charging commissions to investors, removing intermediaries.

Problem:

When trading stocks into the current markets, there is no actual money flow to companies, but instead to intermediate entities.

[IMPACT]

We built a network based on Cardano that will become a sidechain and is fully compatible with the whole ecosystem, so the assets will be able to move between our and the Cardano network.

We issue companies' shares in our network where people can trade them, and for every trade, we provide funds to the company without charging any commission to the involved investors.

To encourage adoption we are also developing a system for the companies to be able to sell their products using cryptocurrencies while getting rid of price fluctuations and if they want, receive fiat for those sales.

We think a massive adoption won't happen unless companies start to use crypto and that's our main objective.

We already have our own Cardano network deployed. We are currently working on finding those early adopter companies and finishing the protocol that distributes funds as well as the exchange.

On our website, you can find we started also a pre-sale to get some initial funds and it is also the way to distribute our coin.

Having the shares issued into the network directly offers several benefits in terms of being able to be traded by anyone and connect any service to it.

In order to make this attractive to companies we provide them a direct monetary benefit against the current markets, and to attract investors, we make it free to invest.

Also, due to the open nature of the solution, anyone can create an application that works with real securities without the need of connecting to external APIs and without paying high market connection fees.

We are dealing with regulations that can change between different countries, and it is the highest risk of the project. Fortunately, the European Union announced it will regulate the tokenization during the ongoing year so can work on a non-regulated basis and adapt to them once they are released.

[FEASIBILITY]

You can check our roadmap at: https://www.shareslake.com/#roadmap

Currently, our network is deployed, we are testing it before making it public and people is able to create their stake pools.

In parallel, we are working on the mentioned system to sell products and looking for the first early adopter companies that want to join this new market and benefit from it.

Our budget allocation is completely described here: https://www.shareslake.com/#coinAllocation

Our team is composed of great, creative, and talented engineers that combine their experience in both engineering and investing to provide a novel approach for the markets of the future.

You can find it in detail here: https://www.shareslake.com/#team

[AUDITABILITY]

We will measure it in terms of features released, users joining our network and the companies we are able to attract.

Our definition of initial success for the project would be being able to start issuing companies' shares tokenized on the network and login them to sell their products using the coin.

  • This is presented for the first time to Catalyst, even though we have already been working on it for some time.
