Detailed Plan

This could be a great addition to Cardano's work in Africa as a great place to build out new curriculum and way of learning based on the same principles as Elon Musk's Ad Astra School. The Idea is to have it available on the blockchain so parents anywhere in the world home school there children with ease due to the bulk of the educational content being specially developed games with learning verification monitored by AI. Along with real world challenges that can be verified back to the blockchain via evidence of completion. The hope would be to communicate with governments of lesser developed countries and work with them to provide high quality educational resources to struggling communities and home-schoolers all around the world. As the system gets verified it could start to integrate into more 1st world countries. Ideally creating a more unified approach to education globally. This is an educational system that will not leave kids behind disinterested and feeling stupid and not good enough. This system engages children and works with them at their level what ever that level may be. If a child is a scholar in maths but not very good with language he/she could be doing year 12 maths and year 7 English etc. But the biggest advantage is the teachers can then focus on the social, emotional and philosophical aspects of education. Student can interact and work in teams with other children of varying ages. Teaching teamwork and co-operation to solve real world problems is something missing in todays schools and will help children intergrate smoothly into well functioning teams as they begin work.

This is a huge idea far outside my capabilities. I believe it is a very worthy idea and much like the adoption of blockchain itself the transformation of our education systems is inevitable. I feel like this is a project that needs to be done right which is why I think it is a great fit for the Cardano ecosystem. I think it would require heavy use of AI integrations which would also be a great project for Sing.Net and Cardaon to work together and show the world what they are capable of. I have yet to approach the sing.net team to see what is involved in creating an AI to manage the system and weather it is possible to integrate them into the games themselves to create constant variation at a suitable difficulty level.

I am going to refocus this funding proposal to give me the green light to build a project roadmap with detailed pricing and to confirmed team members and partnerships.

Basically I am reducing the amount of funding necessary to get the project to the point where it can start seeking funding outside of project catalyst.

This would involve working together with sing.net and developing a proof of concept game and management system so trials can be done to showcase the effectiveness of the online based system.

It would also involve creating a detailed segment of the curriculum to show that it will promote well rounded, outgoing socially engaged children with plenty of activities to do and not just a race of hunch backed computer freaks which could potentially be the criticism.

I am estimating $7,500

I may need a we bit of price appreciation along the way but I feel this works well within the guidelines of what project catalyst is trying to achieve. It leaves plenty of funding for other projects and devs that can get to work right away on projects that may not take long to build.

How my proposal impacts the challenge. Building dapps and integrations on Cardano Blockchain to attract more users.

My proposal would create an entire ecosystem of life long users for the Cardano Blockchain. If it is successful enough to get significant amount of adoption which is the goal it will bring millions maybe 100s of millions of users who will spend many years interacting with the Cardano Blockchain and also ideally Singularity net will be providing many AI calls to School of Life as well. Upon re read of the challenge brief I see the goal is for 2021. This project will not be ready for 2021.

Definition of Success after 3months- Funding received and initial trial curriculum material established. Working gamifing the lessons and AI integration.

6months- Trial curriculum completed with AI monitored learning games that can adjust level to suit performance of the student. Activity lessons planed out with feedback portal to the School of Life as proof of real world activities being carried out tested and completed. Within funding limits or more funding achieved to maintain progress.

12months- Trial work has been carried out on real school children with ongoing updates and improvements being implemented. More funding for a more complete product in the works or achieved and growing the team and support for the project.

Expected public launch date. This will depend entirely on funding and teambuilding to achieve the goals. I would expect 1 year after the trial to build an age 7 to 11 complete primary school package ready for launch. With the work continuing for many years and indefinitely building out a full scale education system spanning all ages, languages and subjects.

My expected launch date would be at earliest Q4 2022 unless there is significant interest and assistance given to the project.

How do I address the challenge question? I struggle to differentiate this from the above "How dose my proposal impact the challenge. However on the question of how to bring more users to the cardano ecosystem via dapps and integrations I think I have put forward a very good proposal. If Cardano can become known as the blockchain of education it will have a never ending supply of millions of users who will be using the blockchain all of there lives. Obviously this will also help the success of other dapps on the chain because they will have a large pool of users already on the chain to draw from. I am very open about the fact that building this out properly sits well outside my current capabilities. I need many more resources than I currently have available. I would hope developers would see and like the idea and choose to be part of the project and the project will be able to reward them appropriately. I think this is a project that would span the entire career for many developers.

Budget breakdown- The budget is only a small portion of what is needed but $2000 would go towards researching and building the learning material over the first 3 months. The remaining $5500 will be put towards building out a trial game with AI monitoring. Giving us a proof of concept . I am hoping to entice extra value for the money spent by offering devs a stake in the project.
