The Hub will Market Cardano Blockchain to Universities and Tech Companies and facilitate in-person events, accelerating the Network Effect.

Problem:

There are 500+ Colleges, and 9,000+ IT companies in the NorthEastern US, and no Community Hub. How can we reach this market in the best way?

To accelerate the Network Effect for both the Cardano Community and the Cardano Blockchain, we need to increase our active effort in outreach.

There’s an untapped market in the Philadelphia Tri-state area, of Universities with IT Departments, Technology Companies, Financial Companies, and many crypto enthusiasts who may consider Cardano as the best choice for the blockchain needs, but they may not be aware of their options or simply need access to information.

By building an active outreach campaign to reach 500+ Universities and 9000+ corporations, we will directly impact Cardano's Mass Adoption

The biggest challenge is actually the bootstrapping of effort, time and money.

The cost of outreach labor, advertising campaigns, and equipment costs are the biggest risk.

I myself as the person in charge am capable of facilitation, project management, team development, event planning. Execution would require a full-time effort which I am willing to do.

However with the help of some volunteers, and the intellectual backing of the Cardano Foundation as well as the financial backing of the Cardano Catalyst funding programs, these challenges can easily be overcome and risks managed efficiently.

[FEASIBILITY]

Project Roadmap

 • Week 1-5 Comprehensive Outreach and Market Research, Budgeting
 • Week 2-7 Advertising Campaign Design, Event Planning, Infrastructure Setup
 • Week 3-9 Advertising Campaign Execution, Event Coordination
 • Misc: Purchasing Equipment, Identifying Venues, Legal/Compliance etc.
 • Week 4-10 Campaign Measurement, Feedback, Event Hosting
 • Week 5 and beyond, Feedback, Adjustment, Repeat Cycle

The funding would pay for infrastructure, event hosting, support, and advertising expenses.

 • Marketing Budget: 35%
 • Infrastructure, Equipment, Labor: 50%
 • Misc Costs and Treasury: 15%

The first 3 months would be aimed at the creation of the awareness phase for a potential 10,000-50,000 new active in-person attendees and members, and the goal would be to convert 10% of those to attend regular events.

[AUDITABILITY]

You will easily be able to track:

 • Impressions
 • Conversions
 • Emails
 • Calls etc.
 • Event RSVP's
 • Event Attendees
 • Signups for other events.

All of these would be tracked in a centralized CRM, made available upon request.

Hosting the first event with an acceptable turnout and acquiring direct feedback from the attendees about what they liked, didn't like and how future events can be improved.

This is the first proposal of this campaign.
