Please describe your proposed solution.
As previously described in the problem statement, My Identity is a web & mobile ussd platform using blockchain to digitize education services in the Democratic Republic of Congo and provide teachers with decentralized digital identities. Our strategy is to address the public education services in the Democratic Republic of Congo to reduce its inefficiencies (corruption windows, interoperability issues, uncertainty and complexity) while promoting the massive adoption of blockchains to accelerate the creation of a new economy of digital services networks focused on education in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The beneficiaries of our solution are the teachers practicing their profession throughout the Democratic Republic of Congo. This solution will help the Congolese government to manage the teachers well, but also to make the traceability of the payment of their salaries.
My Identity, is a platform accessible by all teachers of the DRCongo, but also very simple to use with or without internet connection.
Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.
In DRCongo, many teachers are victims of their salary payment, following the disorders linked to the chain of acquisition of salary from the capital to the 25 provinces away from the capital. Thanks to My Identity, all teachers will be identified on a platform, which will allow the Congolese government to monitor and evaluate the issue related to teachers (their registration, payment …), note that through the same platform, the teacher will have the opportunity to see his salary and the possibility of withdrawing via his mobile money
What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?
The risks related to the lack of financial means to hire other qualified engineers in the new technology sector to set up a solid and secure platform, but also the refusal of the project by some government authorities because the latter will be able to break their theft schemes that take place in their old way.
