Sustainable ADA Goals Token (SAGT) Research Proposal:

Investing in SDG's is investing in our future.

This should be accessible for any person all over the world, if we, as a global society, are to make the necessary and urgent strides to accomplish our Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

At the moment via the Joint SDG Fund, people can donate their money and then the funds go towards SDG projects.

Sustainable ADA's plan is to build a multi-phase development project, with a MVP developed during Q3 of 2022 if funded in Fund 7.

If funded, we will build our team and carry out research over 3 months (March 2022- May 2022). This will allow us to create the proper structure and base for our MVP.

The next phase will be to create a platform, 'Invest In SDGs', that facilitates impact investing directly to projects across the Cardano ecosystem, at source, and in the long term, all relevant projects globally, accelerating investment in the SDG's and helping achieve them by 2030. How do we promote impact SDG investing that isn't just directly impacting one sustainable development goal as these goals are interconnected, and need support in multiple areas?

We create a platform for people across the globe to invest, track, and have a record of the contribution they made or are making towards the array of SDGs they are most passionate about.

How can my investment connect to multiple areas of sustainable development?

Creating impact in multiple areas can be hard and complex. With our proposed, user friendly platform there won't be a focus on just one SDG. Our platform will allow funds to be distributed towards multiple SDGs, because SDG's are all interconnected, and we can't leave any behind

The ability to distribute funds to multiple projects will help to create a balance of investment across all multiple areas of sustainable development, using Cardano's blockchain to create a more transparent, trustworthy and accountable way to help achieve our SDGs by 2030. This also ties in with investment strategies of balancing and reducing portfolio risk through diversification.

Road map: Week 0 - 12

<u>SAGT Research and Development Stage:</u>

This proposal will provide the funds for our team to dedicate capacity to research and development of this platform, and creating an open source financial model for SAGT.

We plan to build a team of researchers, developers, global leaders, and activists to help get this platform and the SAGT into the hands of not just elite investors, but the everyday retail investor.

With our research, we aim to develop an intuitive, easy to use Dapp running on the Cardano blockchain that will allow anyone with access to the internet, and a wallet to have access to impactful projects, and contribute in small and big ways in support of organizations, business, and projects all over the world that are working to solve our 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Whitepaper development: Weeks 0 - 12

• Create a Whitepaper of 'Invest IN SDGs', as the research backed foundation of the SAGT Platform
• This will be open access, allowing the community to see all the research that has gone into the platform and SAGT. Here we will lay out how the platform impacts the Sustainable Development Goals and why it is so important for this mechanism to be created and open to all.
• We will research and develop our standards, and explain the guidelines for projects that will receive funding from our platform, and FAQ on why a project may be restricted/not meet certain developed standards
• Learn how SAGT interacts with the Invest IN SDG's platform and how you can achieve a return on your investment with impact value, as an impact investor and become part of the solution to helping solve our SDG's.

Create a Yellow Paper with the tokenomics of the SAGT Token: Weeks 0 -12

• This is where we will explain the utility and functions of the SAGT and how it can create value for our investors. Not just quick donation, opaque value, but long term value with the added benefits of the traceability of Cardano's blockchain, and information you can add to an asset, (ex. Meta data attached to the transaction)
• We will also come out with the release schedule of our SAGT for both private and public sales
• Learn how you can earn SAGT by using different tools like the Cardano AIM SDG proposer tool, when a project is fully funded you will receive SAGT for your impact and a NFT showing completion or success of a step in a project working towards specific goals
• Allow users to track, trade, and share their accomplishment through social media, a wallet, or certification of donation to an Atala prism wallet, allowing verification on a high level document or blogpost
• KYC regulation, and further wider integration possibilities
• Distribution models, and connections with stake pools and other partners to formulate a smooth and successful launch.
• Create a team of Devs for the SAGT hub. Where people can invest and pick their different projects with ease
• Create a standard for the type of projects we add to our platform, and a mechanism to tracktheir progress and their actual impact towards achieving targeted goals
• Application process for adding a project to the platform

What the Sustainable ADA Goals Token (SAGT) aims to be…

The SAGT Token is a way to invest in Cardano projects that impact multiple areas of sustainable development by allowing the funds invested to be dispersed to the Goals or subgoals you are most passionate about. This will connect with work currently underway in Fund 6 funded proposals:

<u>Example impact investor user flow:</u>

When you want to invest $100 towards the goals you are most passionate about, you are presented with the menu of Sustainable Development Goals 1 to 17

Then listed under each goal we have the subgoals, and the different projects associated with each sub goal.

This enables users to choose as many goals/projects they want their investment to impact, and they can distribute the weight of their total investment in an intuitive way with a powerful UX and UI.

This in turn contributes to a global effort needed for more investments to be directed to the Sustainable Development Goals, so there can be a collaborative effort to help solve them by 2030.

Example of an impact investor's distributed investment portfolio spending with $100 in their wallet on the following Sustainable Development Goal oriented Cardano ecosystem projects:

Once the user confirms the projects they want to invest in, then they receive a confirmation that the investment was sent to the different projects/ goals according to their chosen distribution.

With the SAGT tokens you buy, you are able to track and confirm the project you donated to with an NFT and Metadata attached to the assets. This will provide a transparent way to share and track the different SDGs you helped impact, and your proof of purchase of SAGT.

NFTs will feature limited edition art created by artists globally that relate to a SDG/Project that SAGT can also be traded for.

<u>So in summary SAGT Utility allows for:</u>

• Supporting projects working towards reaching our SDG's with impact investment
• Verifiable data connecting investors directly to the projects they support
• Earn NFTs connecting your impact to the Sustainable Development Goals
• NFTs are themselves tradable as they will feature art from artists globally who receive a share of funds from transactions

<u>What success looks like</u>

Novel and viable applications get built on top of Cardano attracting users. Integrations manage to pull in more adoption.

If funded, we will build the team and conduct the research and development for this innovative Dapp. It will be the first of its kind to attract new users and existing users deeper into Cardano's ecosystem, using ADA or SAGT to invest in the Sustainable Development Goals, and has purposes that are transparent and auditable via metadata, and NFT's. Smart Contract functionality will also help to make transactions cost effective.

IOG Strategic Impact Officer Dr Mihaela and Chief Financial Officer Jeff Pollack discussed ways to support projects with real-world social impact in a system driven solely by return on investment, and how to reconcile these seemingly at odds objectives.
