Plan in detail:

In order to bring a spotlight to Mission Driven Pools and help them connect to delegators worldwide Sustainable ADA intend to launch a competition and give them a platform to promote themselves.

The competition:

Top 10 SPOs as voted for by the people, and a bonus 11th pool as chosen by Sustainable ADA and Adatruth.

Every pool that enters must pitch themselves in a 'tweet length' (240 characters) about why they are the Mission Driven Pool (MDP) to receive the prize video to showcase them.

The costs for quality marketing and promo videos is not cheap and we propose to use a modest amount of treasury funds to cover the costs of stimulating community excitement and engagement with SPOs, and using our skills in service for the voted for stake pool operators, to help them connect with audiences and delegators.

Our team at Sustainable ADA and Adatruth will then publish the results of the votes and choose a bonus 11th pool we feel wins based on a mix of the pool's:

*Mission Driven Running Operations

*Their support of Mission Driven Impact Projects

*In a location that is particularly challenging and is running nonetheless

*Anything else of special regard that makes them standout particularly

Competition is open to all entries as received in the Twitter Thread message (must be from a Twitter account belonging to the Pool) from the moment the competition goes live and will run for 2 weeks on Twitter.

Prize: 11 SPOs will each receive a professionally made 3-5 mins promo video made for them, showcasing their Mission Driven Pool, team, and impact.

Made by an international team of experienced filmmakers, videographers, photographers, video and story editors/writers, including translation work into multiple languages that are spoken in the Cardano ecosystem.

You must be a single pool operator

You must be a Mission Driven Pool and be able to justify why

You must have an active Twitter account linked to your Stake Pool to engage with the competition

(Our team possess native language skills and connections to native speakers in the following languages to produce videos with subtitle translations in English, Czech, French, Indonesian, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Vietnamese, Hindi)

Impact: Videos have the power to inform, educate and emotionally inspire. We believe this is a missing piece in the puzzle to help connect delegators to Mission Driven Pools, and help direct ADA flows towards measurable positive sustainable impact globally.

Feasibility: We are a committed and proven group of active catalyst community members, with experience of producing a range of impactful videos for the community.

Auditability: We will be announcing our work and competition on social media (Twitter, Discord, YouTube, our webpages) and share in relevant channels and forums such as the Cardano 4 Climate conference, Town Hall Breakout Rooms, etc.

<u>KPIs:</u>

  • How many views per video?
  • How many people were inspired by the videos to delegate with the mission driven stake pool? (Each pool can share their own statistics and monitoring to help track this)
  • Use social media hashtags on Twitter to track, and number of likes and comments, impressions.

<u>Budget:</u>

Proposal is seeking costs for the prize and running of the competition and campaign =

<u>11 videos:</u>

  • $300 per video (for a video of up to 3 - 5 mins long produced by our team of international filmmakers, videographers, editors) showcasing the pool, the team and the MDP credentials

Admin costs, social media promo and campaign materials/management: $700

Total = $4000

Video cost includes production of video, and translation work

We will have subtitles included in the video in English, French, Indonesian, Czech

The videos will be shown on Sustainable ADA YouTube Channel and a copy of the high resolution file will be shared with the Pool winner.

We aim to share with IOG, media and distribution networks, YouTubers globally.

Roadmap:

If funded:

<u>Feb 2022:</u> Begin producing the competition and campaign promo materials to publicise the competition through relevant networks, channels in the Cardano ecosystem. Aim to communicate with IOG to help publicise the competition and other ecosystem stakeholders.

<u>March 2022:</u> Competition goes live, winners announced.

<u>April 2022:</u> Videos are produced for the winners.

<u>April - May 2022:</u> Videos are published and promoted through networks and channels, media and distribution networks, partners and Youtubers.
